Call to Community Services Commission

I just finished a phone call to Jenny (General Manager) at the NSW Community Services Commission.  She is a very sweet sounding lady - don't bother her with all your problems, bother me instead and we'll all work together.

I called to speak with Roger West and asked Jenny if CSC follows DoCS matters that gain media attention.  She said sometimes.  I asked if she remembered our incident from Today Tonight.  She remembered!  (And they say people forget after a short time! Don't believe it!)

We discussed the letter from NSW Ombudsman and the brief issues, I thought this was a good idea so that Jenny was well aware of what was going on.  The more people who are thinking and taking notice the better.  I also asked if CSC was in any way corruptible - she said she hoped not.  I do too.  Seems the NSW Ombudsman might be.  The letter certainly doesn't meet that of my material sent to them. 

Anyway I gave her the Web Site and suggested she speak with Doug (I'd spoken to Doug in October see October entries) and obtain the faxes and documents that had been sent to him.

I hope the CSC is more functional than the NSW Ombudsman's Office, which clearly has resource problems and drops matters that have far too much clear convicting evidence.
