Tuesday 17 November 1998. 8:33 PM Letter to Police re Release and Repairs David Mathias Fax (02) 4655 0522 Tuesday, 17 November 1998 Dear Mr. Mathias, Re: NSW Police Agreement to pay for repairs to the Entrance of [ADDRESS]. We are in receipt of your two faxes this afternoon in relation to the Release faxed this morning and the holding of payment pending your receipt of a satisfactory release. Your demand and withholding of making good payment for repairs to the Entrance at [ADDRESS] is unacceptable and changes the agreement. Inspector Hamlet made an agreement on Wednesday 23 September in the presence of Solicitor Marina Voncina and Mr. A. Todd that the cost of repairs would be met unconditionally by the NSW Police Service. There was no agreement made to sign Releases or Indemnities. We advice that should there be any delay in collection of the payment tomorrow before Midday at Parramatta collection action will be immediately commenced. Yours sincerely, Mr. A. Todd.
