Dear Insp Hamlet,

I write to notify you that we will be unable to meet the current scheduled Conciliation Prospect with Mediation on 17 November 1998 at 10 AM.

Recently further information regarding NSW Police conduct and action has come to light. We are currently investigating these details.

Until this investigation is complete and the details are made available, I can not at this time complete or contemplate completion of the conciliation process.

Could you please contact Mr. Steven Wilson at the Ombudsman’s office and postpone this meeting.

I will notify you when I have received the results of the investigation.
