WOAH BABY!

We just got a fax from Marina (our solicitor) which is a several page letter from DoCS.

Let me quote, I can't put this into other words:

"The Department received a further notification early September 1998 alleging that:
(several points already posted removed)
8. Adam's mother suffered from depression and his natural father from manic depression."

Then it goes on to say:

"The Department now received another notification which generally expresses concern about the intra-family relationship and it is consistent with point 8 above, and Dr. Huckstepp's advice.

This notification alleges that:

1. the mother may be suffering from depression
2. Mr. Todd appears to dominate Mrs Todd and may be suffering from some form of depression
3. Adam may only be receiving one feed out of every three
4. Adam may be at risk."

See the contradictions?  HAVE YOUR SAY

To quote Suzanne: "This is a butt covering exercise and a mud slinging exercise.   Oh well we might as well get use to it as we are going to be Senators."

Those of you following this story daily would know that under the policy issued by the Department that a child under one who is at RISK should be REMOVED immediately from the premises.

It's been how many days?  25 days since the event?  Faye Lo Po on 2GB on the 6th of October claimed, and I quote, "There are documents that say there needs to be more attention given to that family and baby."

Yet they have refused to answer my faxes and requests that they call me.

Hey this is typical.  When you need help the Department ignores the matter till it's too late.

I wonder how they will handle the fact that they caused the problem to exist in the first place?  Oh will we enjoy the Psychiatrist appointment - I have no hesitation in agreeing with this appointment. 

Watch your TV sets!  We are really starting to warm this one up.

"They are pushing their parenting ideas on us again." Says Suzanne in relation to the comment in the letter that the Department can help arrange Parenting course and early childhood development course for us.

Oh Boy.  WOAH just makes it seem so small.
